Ginger

Pregnant women can consume ginger in several forms. Tea and capsules are best method. If the pregnant woman got an upset stomach then Ginger candies and crystalized ginger will be a good option. Large quantities are not needed and in fact, recommended dose is 1 gm (equivalent to dried powder) daily.

Echinacea
Pregnant women get colds easily. Natural hormonal changes in pregnancy makes the mother's nose feel stuffy and for a big belly it becomes harder to breathe.
Echinacea has been shown to have useful properties in fighting against colds.
It is best used in the form of a tincture. twice daily.

Pregnant women usually suffer from some common health problem, which include, Nausea, Cold, Insomnia. In these cases herbal remedies are considered far more safer than the pharmaceuticals.
But it is strongly advised not to use herbs on the first trimester of the pregnancy. There are some herbals, which are definitely not safe for the baby during pregnancy. 


1. Red Raspberry Leaf:
This herb is rich in minerals and consumed for healthy pregnancy. It is considered for tuning the uterus to help a woman prepare for birth. It can help to expedite labor and reduce complications.
 Recommended dose is from 1.5 – 5 gm daily in tea.
Pregnancy Tea
2 tbsp red raspberry leaf
2 tsp spearmint leaf
2 tsp rose hips
Mix together and place into a reusable tea bag. Steep in 8 oz of boiling water for 20 minutes, strain and drink 1-2 cups daily.




Calcium for Bone Density

Get your daily calcium by popping a tab, chugging milk or eating yoghurt. It’ll keep your bones strong. Remember that your bone density declines after the age of 30. You need at least 200 milligrams daily

Symptoms of Heat Strokes


Body temperature rises above 100 degrees F, and the person may become confused, combative, behave bizarrely, feel faint, stagger. Pulse is rapid. Skin is dry. Lack of sweating. Breathing may be fast and shallow. Pupils may widen or dilate.

So, during hot weather Drink lots of fluids and fresh juices.
Avoid direct sunlight and long time exposure.
Avoid eating hot meal and dont use oven until its absolutely necessary.
If u feel fatigue when walking outside, take some rest in the shadow.
